About Mr. Alan Chan

Born in Hong Kong, Mr. Alan Chan is a globally renowned graphic and interior designer, brand consultant and artist with a focus on advertising and branding. He was awarded Worlds Outstanding Chinese Designer by Hong Kong Design Centre in 2017. He created the corporate image and packaging design for citysuper, and his classic logo is still in use today.

Fans of Mr. Alan Chans work will be delighted to know that he has recently designed the packaging for citysuper-branded products, which features the brands signature green colour in an asymmetrical band across the top or bottom of the product label. The simplistic yet eye-catching form of this band takes on the shape of an exclamation mark, which playfully resonates with the inverted i in the brand logo.
