- The largest monopole in Bourgogne, Clos Marey-Monge benefits from a unique environment. At the base of the hill of Pommard, the complexity of the soils comes from the alluvia, sand and gravel carried by the Avant-Dheune River a thousand years ago. The blend of the seven cuves from the limestone and clay-rich soils creates a deep, elegant, and sophisticated Pinot Noir.
- New vines were planted in 2017 at the furthest eastern point of Clos Marey-Monge on clay-limestone soils with a sandy texture, with gravel and pebbles in this plot. This is where our milie cuve begins her journey.
- Intense ruby color, milie 2022 unveils a bright red fruit aromas and floral notes. The palate is clean and marked by rounded tannins as well as fruity and spicy notes.
